Mount Teide 1/2 Day
The largest and oldest National Park in the Canary Islands and home to Spain’s highest peak. Mount Teide, the UNESCO World Heritage listed National Park is one of the top attractions on the island of Tenerife. At 3,718m, the landmark peak of Teide is the world’s third highest volcano.
This popular excursion ascends from sea-level to 2,370m into the El Teide National Park up to the highest peak in Spain, Mount Teide.
Leaving the south of the island, passing through the beautiful Canarian pine forests and along mountain roads whilst enjoying breathtaking views and scenery to reach Las Canadas.
Then onto spectacular lunar landscapes, lava flows and rock formations featured in many Hollywood movies, we make our way to Mount Teide.
At the foot of the volcano, enjoy impressive views of one of the biggest craters in the world, and the Ucanca Valley or choose to take the Cable Car (extra cost) to (3,550m) just below the peak .
